India: MOP stocks down by 3% on prior week

India’s countrywide MOP inventories have decreased by 3% week on week to 1.72 Mt and are now roughly 3% lower than they were one month ago, according to updated Department of Fertilizers (DoF) data. Countrywide stocks have declined gradually since July 2019 to a level last seen in April. Port inventories in India have decreased by 5% over the last week to 535,000 t. Wholesale stocks are also down 5% week on week, while warehouse stocks rose by 5%, the data shows.
