Acron’s Q1 fertilizer output down 3%

Acron’s first quarter 2020 nitrogen fertilizer production dropped 10% year on year to 1.1 Mt, the company said in an April 22 statement. Urea production was down 22% year on year at 245,000 t. Acron’s UAN production dropped 38% to 265,000 t while AN output rose 21% to 604,000 t. Ammonia output in Q1 exhibited a slight 0.6% decrease at 677,000 t, with 634,000 t of this consumed internally, Acron said.
