Kenya to halt bagging bulk fertilizers at port

The Kenya Ports Authority is suspending bagging services at the port of Mombasa from April 24 due to dangers of the possible spread of Covid-19, according to official documents seen by Fertilizer Week. The authority indicated that too many people are both bagging product and loading onto trucks from conveyor belts which has made social distancing difficult to maintain.
