US: Solid sulphur imports stay strong through July

The US picked up imports of solid sulphur in July, according to data via IHS Markit, continuing this year's recovery of solid sulphur imports following a cut last year. The US imported 90,529 t from Russia and 49,681 t from the UAE in July. The total volume to the US from Russia over January-July was 270,129 t, up 35% year on year, with no cargoes in May or June. Imports from the UAE were up to 85,180 t from nothing.
