Spot prices for sulphuric acid cargoes to Chile were assessed lower on an indicative basis at $65-75/t CFR from $70-75/t, though deals and demand were scarce. Some traders suggested that prices would need to be in the low $60s/t CFR to draw any attention from buyers, as they had little need for spot volumes given carryover tonnes and contract arrivals.
