US Midwest: Urea quotes steady

Urea for top dress application on corn and some other crops in the Midwest continues to move, according to distributors. Prices on both sides of the Mississippi River are cited at $290-310/st FOB from St. Louis, Missouri to the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Nearly 90% of the Midwest corn crop was planted by May 24, according to the May 26 Crop Progress report from the US Department of Agriculture.
