Baltic Sea: Uralchem stops Berezniki production

Uralchem reported July 8 that production at its Berezniki nitrogen plant has stopped production, in a statement on its website. A high calcium chloride content was recorded in a nearby river which provides water to the plant and could threaten safe operation of the plant’s technological equipment.
