Baltic Sea: AN prices soften further

Producers continue to target $170-175/t FOB but are being countered much lower at $160/t FOB and face liquidity problems from key markets such as Brazil, traders report. Export tonnes from the Baltic are in oversupply with the Russian season exhausted and reported lower demand for industrial use. As such, market sources expect the AN price to slip even lower in the coming weeks.
