Latest news from India still suggests a fresh import tender will be floated next week, this time by RCF. The session will complement purchases of 1.795 Mt in MMTC’s August 26 tender. August sales of urea in India recorded by the Department of Fertilizers (DoF) via Point of Sales (PoS) monitoring at 4.013 Mt were down on August 2019 at 4.672 Mt. The April-August sales figures total was 15.52 Mt, up considerably on the 12.44 Mt recorded in the same period of 2019.
