China: Domestic MAP price flat

MAP prices are unchanged in China with low production rates offset by low MAP demand for NPK production. Domestic powdered MAP 11-44 is still pegged at RMB 1,650-1,730/t EXW ($238-249/t) while MAP 10-50 is pegged at an indicative RMB 1,850-1,950/t EXW ($267-281/t). NPK producers have gradually started to increase operations for the spring season, according to market sources, which could support MAP prices in China unless producers also increase production.
