US: Jan-Oct DAP/MAP exports up 21%

US DAP/MAP imports in the first ten months of 2019 rose 8.1% year on year to 2.6 Mt while DAP/MAP exports rose 21% in the same period to 3.3 Mt, according to IHS Markit data. Imports US MAP imports in January-October increased 10% year on year to 1.6 Mt. Imports from Morocco increased 38% to 969,450 t, volumes from Russia fell 32% to 384,405 t and imports from Saudi Arabia rose to 120,761 t from 31,847 t. MAP imports from Mexico increased 14% to 105,481 t.
