Morocco: DAP/MAP prices under pressure

OCP remains in discussions over DAP/MAP shipments in June with prices under pressure due to weak demand in key markets, according to market sources. The company is understood to have already planned at least 200,000 t granular phosphates for shipment in June. DAP deals are rumoured for June to Southern Europe, Romania and Turkey at prices reflecting $390-405/t FOB but these have yet to be confirmed. OCP recently said it was still in discussions over sales to European buyers in June with nothing yet confirmed.
