Taiwan ammonia buyers CPDC and TFC are not interested in purchasing spot ammonia tonnes in the near term. Falling caprolactam prices have led CPDC’s downstream caprolactam output to be cut to 80% of rated capacity in June, reducing ammonia consumption slightly and lessening the need for spot tonnes.
