Spot prices for sulphuric acid exports from Europe were assessed unchanged at $30-40/t FOB Northwest Europe on an indictive basis, as a lack of availability and limited spot demand left the market quiet. Producers said they would not sell below the $30s/t FOB if they had availability. Higher trans-Atlantic freights are also exerting pressure on FOB levels, but sales to Brazil in the high $60s/t CFR should still net back within the $30s/t FOB.
