Chile: January-October acid imports jump 31%

Chile's imports of sulphuric acid for January-October 2019 increased 31% year on year to 3.06 Mt, according to data via IHS Market. Peru remained the main source of Chilean acid imports over the 10-month period with 1.06 Mt, though this was down 1% year on year. Imports from China jumped to 613,572 t from 216,873 t.
