Acron posts profit surge on nutrient sales, prices

Acron Group reported a huge jump in revenue and net profit for H1 2019 versus the prior year period in its August 26 financial statement thanks to gains in most fertilizer prices and sales volumes. Revenue was up 22% year on year to RUB 60,472 million. In US dollars equivalent, revenue was up 11% to $926 million from $833 million, the company said. Net profit increased to RUB 17,196 million. In US dollar equivalent, net profit increased to $263 million from $58 million.
