Potash prices pressured by seasonally slow demand

Global potash market activity was largely muted again this week as buyers continued to hold back from purchasing spot volumes amid extended downwards price pressure and seasonally limited demand. High inventories in key end user markets are preventing an improvement in buying interest. Many buyers also reportedly remain absent because they are confident of further price declines over the short term.
