Mediterranean: Assessment steady as buyers comfortable

Spot prices for sulphur cargoes of 10,000 t or less in the Mediterranean region were assessed unchanged at $95-100/t CFR and $72-77/t FOB. Toros purchased a 10,000 t cargo for June around $105/t CFR with credit, sources said, leaving the buyer covered for June. Bagfas was reportedly also covered until early July at least, with sulphuric acid imports also reducing the buyer’s need for additional sulphur tonnes.
