China: H1 sulphur imports increase 8%

China’s sulphur imports for January-June 2019 were up 8% year on year at 5.93 Mt. The volume from Qatar was up 49% to 849,021 t, while Saudi Arabia was down 25% at 821,645 t. Imports from the UAE decreased 20% to 757,294 t, while Iran tonnes jumped 104% to 693,431 t.
