FSU: Prices plunge on latest sales

Gazprom awarded a tender earlier this week for around 35,000 t sulphur to a trader at a price in the mid-to-high $80s/t FOB Ust Luga, according to market sources. Some market rumours had the price as low as the upper $70s/t FOB. This followed sales from TCO late last week for 35,000 t around $90/t FOB and another sale heard from Kashagan around $85/t FOB, though the producers have not confirmed the business.
