Crude oil prices cooled off on Thursday after three consecutive days of gains, as Brent dipped below USD 78/barrel and WTI fell below USD 73/barrel. The price of coal broke through the USD 100/tonne marker in the session, equivalent to USD 4.02/MMBtu, the highest price on the API2 coal Argus-McCloskey index in at least four years.
