If YOU THINK OF A SKINCARE formulation as a feature film, free radicals play the villain. These destructive substances, caused by environmental stressors like cigarette smoke, air pollution, UV light and ozone, wreak havoc in your cells attacking DNA, cell membranes and fibroblasts. (A free radical is any atom or molecule that has a single unpaired electron in an outer shell.)
