Aker Solutions has won two contracts for the Statoil-led Johan Castberg oil field development project in the Norwegian Barents Sea. Aker will supply the subsea production system and also design the topside of the Floating Production, Storage and Offloading facility, which will be the largest-ever of its kind offshore Norway, said the contractor. The total value of the work is around US $484.1 Bn (NOK 4 Bn) and will be booked in Q4 2017 orders.
