Triangle Energy has identified exploration prospects near its Cliff Head field offshore Australia that could hold around 29m bbl. This is an increase of more than 80% compared to a previous estimate of 15.7m bbl, Triangle said. The Cliff Head oil field is located 10km off the coast of Western Australia at a water depth of 15- 20m (49-66ft). It was the first commercial oil discovery developed in the offshore Perth Basin.
