Chrysaor eyes Chevron assets

UK-based Chrysaor is looking to buy Chevron's fields in both the UK and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea, according to a report. In 2017, Chrysaor acquired a package of Shell's UK North Sea assets for up to US $3.8 Bn. Then in June 2018, it bought Spirit Energy's entire stakes in the Armada, Maria and Seymour fields offshore the UK. Just recently, Chrysaor entered the Norwegian sector with the acquisition of equity in the Grevling oil discovery in the Norwegian North Sea.
