Shell makes LNG Canada FID

Shell and its partners have taken a FinalInvestment Decision (FID) on the LNG Canadaproject in Kitimat,British Columbia,Canada.Construction work will start immediately,withfirst LNG due before the middle of the nextdecade.Shell’s 40% stake in the project’s capitalcost is within the firm’s current overall capitalinvestment guidance of US $25-$30 Bn per year.
