Oranto eyes Zambia

Oranto Petroleum is gearing up to start exploring for oil in Zambia after it was awarded two blocks in the southern African country.Zambia does not produce oil but the governmentsays soil samples sent to European laboratories have shown good traces of crude, Reuters reported. Under the licensing awards, Oranto will hold a 90% stake in the two blocks and will berequired to conduct geological and geophysicalstudies over two years.
