UK Lancaster EPS re-entry

Hurricane Energy reports that well re-entry and completion operations for the Early Production System (EPS) on the Lancaster field offshore the UK have now started under the control of Petrofac, which is the well operator. The operations will use Transocean’s Paul B. Loyd Jr semisubmersible rig. Following the rig’s previous assignment and mobilisation to the Lancaster field, it underwent a required period of blowout preventer maintenance prior to start of well completion operations, Hurricane noted.
