First shipment from Prelude

The first shipment of LNG has sailed from Shell’s Prelude Floating LNG (FLNG) facility, which lies 475km northeast of Broome, Western Australia. This shipment will be delivered by the Valencia Knutsen vessel to customers in Asia, said operator Shell, whose joint venture partners in Prelude are Inpex, Kogas and OPIC.
