Slyne Basin licence converted

The Irish government has approved Europa Oil & Gas’ application to convert Licensing Option 16/20 (LO 16/20) in the Slyne Basin off Ireland to Frontier Exploration Licence 4/19 (FEL 4/19). The 100% owned licence includes Europa’s Inishkea prospect, which lies northwest of the producing Corrib gas field in the Corrib Field Petroleum Lease Area. The Inishkea prospect has estimated gross mean unrisked prospective gas resources of 42.49 Bcm (1.5 Tcf) and has a one in three chance of success.
