PTTEP bags Malaysia blocks

Thailand’s state-owned PTTEP has signed a Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) with Malaysia’s state player Petronas for exploration and production rights for shallow water Block PM407 and PM415 offshore Peninsular Malaysia. Under the PSA, PTTEP will be the operator of the two blocks with a 55% stake in PM407 and 70% in PM415, while Petronas has a 45% stake in PM407 and 30% in PM415.
