Total 's GoM FID and FEED

France's Total has made a Final Investment Decision (FID) to develop the Anchor oil field in the US Gulf of Mexico (GoM), while also starting Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) work for the North Platte discovery. The Anchor field will be developed with seven subsea wells connected to a semi-submersible Floating Production Unit (FPU) with a production capacity of 75,000 b/d of crude oil and 793.2 Mcm/d (28 MMcf/d) of gas. First oil is due in 2024.
