PTTEP major Sarawak gas strike

Thailand’s state-owned PTTEP has made a “multi- Tcf gas discovery” with the shallow water Lang Lebah-1RDR2 exploration well offshore Sarawak, East Malaysia. PTTEP said the Lang Lebah-1RDR2 probe is the first exploration well in Block SK410B. Consultants Wood Mackenzie said the discovery could be around 56.66 Bcm (2 Tcf), making it the seventh largest global discovery of the year.
