Turk Stream Construction Nears Completion

Russia's Gazprom may complete construction of the 31.5 Bcm/yr Turk Stream offshore gas pipeline project within the next couple of weeks, Energy Intelligence understands. The Pioneering Spirit pipe-laying vessel of Switzerland's Allseas had just 42 km left to build on the second 15.75 Bcm/yr offshore line of the project at the end of the day on Nov. 7, an online tracking system shows. With average construction of 4.3 km each day, that means there are roughly 10 days of pipe-laying work left.
