Romania's Transgaz Inks Black Sea Gas Deal

Romanian explorer Black Sea Oil & Gas (BSOG) has signed a 15-year agreement with the country's gas grid operator Transgaz to transport 1 Bcm/yr of gas domestically from its Midia Gas scheme. The Midia project comprises five production wells at the Doina and Ana fields in the Romanian Black Sea, which are due to come on line by 2021. BSOG is owned by US private-equity firm Carlyle International Energy Partners and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
