Canada-based Precision Drilling has won a contract to build and supply a new rig to Kuwait as the Opec member looks to ramp up drilling in a bid to hike production. Precision on Monday disclosed a five-year “take-or-pay” contract in Kuwait for a newbuild ST- 3000 model rig, including an optional one-year extension.
