Indonesia Urged to Choose PSC Operators

Indonesian upstream regulator SKK Migas has urged the government to decide on the operatorship of several upstream production-sharing contracts (PSCs) that are due to expire to prevent a drop in investment and oil output. At least 25 PSCs are due to end between 2018 and 2023, including Chevron’s Rokan Block contract in 2021, and ConocoPhillips’ Corridor contract in 2023, according to the regulator (EIF Sep.27’17).
