France has unveiled an ambitious economic recovery plan under which it will pump tens of billions of euros into the decarbonization of its economy (IOD Sep.3’20).The €100 billion ($118 billion) plan includes €30 billion that will be allocated to the energy transition,green mobility and other efforts that will lower the country’s carbon footprint and spur economic activity."This recovery plan aims to keep our economy from collapsing and unemployment exploding,"Prime Minister Jean Castex told radio station RTL.
