Ukraine Rejects Gazprom Proposals

Ukraine has balked at both proposals from Russia' s Gazprom for reaching a new agreement on natural gas transit starting in 2020. Energy Minister Oleksei Orzhel said that rejecting outstanding arbitration cases - one of Gazprom' s conditions for both proposals - was “unacceptable,” although he hoped that the two sides would still be able to engage in a “constructive dialogue."
