QP and Shell Sign LNG Bunkering Deal

Qatar Petroleum and Royal Dutch Shell have signed an agreement to establish a joint venture to provide global LNG bunkering services for ships. The venture will have a 50-50 ownership structure and will procure LNG, set up LNG bunkering infrastructure (storage and bunker vessels) at various strategic locations around the world, and facilitate the sale of LNG as a marine fuel to global end-customers, the two companies said.
