SeverEnergia, a joint venture between Gazprom and Italian energy firms Eni and Enel, expects the Russian energy ministry to approve its development plans for the Sam- burgskoye field in the first half of 2010, Gazprom Chief Executive Alexander Medvedev said. Once the venture gets the nod, it will decide a date for starting produc- tion and approve the budget, he added.
