Appointment of New TNK-BP Chief Executive Maxim Barsky Delayed

Maxim Barsky, who was set to become TNK- BP's new chief executive officer on Jan. 1, will not take the reins of Russia's third-largest oil producer until at least March of next year. The Anglo-Russian joint venture released a statement Friday saying “there will be a delay in Barsky assuming his new role” pending fi- nalization of certain matters, including “stock options and long-term incentive plans.”
