In the week ended 28 October, prices surged week on week from yuan (CNY) 9,000-9,100/tonne ex-tank east China market and CNY9,100-9,200/tonne ex-tank south China to CNY9,800/tonne and CNY9,600/tonne respectively, following news of a key producer facing plant issues and reducing supply to the China import market.
