Europe PE/ethylene spread widest since 2017 in uncertain market

LONDON (ICIS)--The spread between ethylene and polyethylene (PE) has increased considerably in 2020, reaching its highest level since 2017, ICIS data show. Gross contracted reference levels are at their highest spread over the prevailing ethylene contract since March/April 2017, and net spot levels are at their highest point since November of that year.
