Asia PS activity slows ahead of holidays; minimal selling pressure

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Trading activity for Asia’s polystyrene (PS) showed an expected slowdown ahead of the holiday season in some parts of northeast Asia, amid limited selling pressure for producers as most have already sold out of cargoes even for H2 July loading. Buyers were slightly more cautious on accepting higher-priced discussion levels as they did not want to be taking even longer positions before the shortened work week, even though there were still enquiries for CFR China material.
