Lukoil president Vagit Alekperov will discuss upstream involvement in Iran with Iranian oil minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh in Moscow on 3 October. The Russian private-sector frm has presented a development plan for Iran’s 15.1bn bl Mansuri-Bangestan feld, southeast of Ahwaz, to state-owned oil company NIOC and will submit a proposal for the 12.2bn bl Ab-Teymour feld in October-November, Alekperov says. Indonesia’s state-owned oil company Pertamina has also submitted a plan for Mansuri-Bangestan. “We are holding talks… we have some disagreements, nothing crucial — regarding production targets and on how soon they can be reached. I am sure that we will settle them in October or the frst half of November,” Alekperov says.
