Buyers remain reluctant to take firm positions for October business and continue to indicate bids at no better than $370/t cfr despite Canpotex’s reported $380/t cfr. The other key international suppliers to the country, Uralkali, along with Belaruskali, ICL and SQM are also targeting $380/t cfr. They are adamant that they will not offer below $380/t cfr, and most feel there is still a reasonable amount of time to achieve this.
