摘要

Spinel supported catalyst, Co3CO4-Fe3CO4/CaO was synthesized by co-precipitation method via calcination at different temperatures (450, 650 and 800 °C). The resulting powder of prepared precursors was characterizes by X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectrophotometer and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The catalytic activity of the prepared catalyst was investigated by removal of Celestine blue B dye from the effluents of textile wastewater by adsorption and by photocatalytic degradation. The reaction was followed spectrophotometrically at 644 nm.
