Prices fall after US issues waivers

1. Crude prices fell after the US issued sanctions waivers to eight countries that import Iranian crude, with more pressure coming from rising US crude stocks. Atlantic basin benchmark North Sea Dated fell by $1.87/bl to $69.57/bl, while US marker WTI dipped by $3.02/bl to $60.67/bl. 2. North Sea benchmark grades Forties, Oseberg, Ekofisk and Troll came under pressure from poor demand and lower offers for mid-November cargoes. Forties slipped to a 92￠/bl discount to North Sea Dated - its widest since early June. Lower offers helped push down Ekofisk as well. Cargoes of Oseberg and Troll were similarly offered at lower levels, falling to 80￠/bl and $1.30/bl premiums to North Sea Dated, respectively.
