Gasoline swings higher amid seasonal transition

1.Gulf coast diesel and gasoline prices rose, helped in part by stockdraws and the transition to tighter summer gasoline specifcations. 2.Gulf coast gasoline markets started transitioning to summer specifcations. Gulf coast gasoline stocks posted the largest weekly drop in more than a year to around 88mn bl on 28 February, and prices rose from a four-week low. Gulf coast gasoline also jumped to a rare premium to diesel (see graph).
